Message from the Dean

On behalf of the Faculty of Agro-Industry (FAI) at the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Cambodia, I would like to welcome you to the FAI. In this website, you will find all information about the faculty including academic program, curriculum, admission, mission, vision, faculty profiles, departments, resources and laboratory facilities as well as students’ life. FAI was established in 2001. At FAI, we provide our students with a practical education, that has a solid foundation in theory, so preparing them for careers in a growing job market. There is an increasing demand for graduates with degrees in the areas of food science, food technology, food engineering, food and nutrition, post-harvest technology of all types of agricultural products, food packaging, food logistics, food quality control, etc., so that Cambodia’s economy continue to grow and to support not only those who rely on agricultural production but also industrial factories and companies. Sustainable agriculture is of major importance to Cambodia’s future. FAI offers a diverse range of academic degree programs, and students benefit from our faculty members’ expertise in teaching, research, extension or outreach, and community engagement. We also enjoy the rewards of international collaboration with partners around the world. FAI has multiple options for students to study and take internships both in local and abroad through various programs we have. FAI’s students, faculties, and extension professionals are actively engaging and collaborating with national and international stakeholders.
