Mr. UY Sophorn specialises in fish community structure, molecular ecology and is a lecturer at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Royal University of Agriculture. He holds an MSc. in Biodersity Conservation and is a PhD candidate in Life Science, skilled in Applied Ecology and Management at the Royal University of Phnom Penh. His research interests include fish community structure, fish body-size and population genetics in support of fisheries management and conservation in the lower Mekong River system. He also contributes to the development and modernization of bachelor and master curriculum in fisheries and aquaculture in accordance with the FutureFit Educational Framework for Outcome-based Education of Higher Education in Cambodia.
