Dr. NGOR Peng Bun is an aquatic ecologist and the dean of the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture at the Royal University of Agriculture. He holds a PhD in Agronomical and Ecological Sciences, specializing in Ecology, Biodiversity, and Evolution from the University of Toulouse, France. His research and publications focus on aquatic community ecology and ecological modeling, with significant contributions to understanding the impacts of hydrological changes on fish assemblages in the Mekong River Basin. His work has been widely published, highlighting critical issues such as the effects of dam development on fish biodiversity and the sustainability of fisheries in the region. His efforts are vital in promoting sustainable management practices for the Mekong's aquatic resources, ensuring food security and biodiversity conservation for future generations. In addition to his research activities, he has led the development and improvement of bachelor's and master's programs in fisheries and aquaculture to align with outcome-based education.
Mrs. HOLL Tharine is a vice-dean and lecturer of the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Cambodia. She graduated a master of Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Environment from RUA in 2005. She is responsible for the curriculum and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA). In addition to her teaching, Mrs Holl Tharine plays role in curriculum development and improvement for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in field of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
Mr. HOK Sen Samphea is a head of Department of Fisheries Management and Conservation at Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture. He graduated a master of Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Environment from the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) in 2005. He is responsible for the Water Quality Laboratory and the Aquatic Biology Laboratory. His interest are both innovative aquaculture productions and aquatic resource management
Dr. CHHOM Vichar is a lecturer and the Deputy Head of the Department of Fisheries Product Technology at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Cambodia. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Fisheries in 2008 and a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management and Rural Development in 2013, both from RUA. In 2024, she graduated a Doctor of Philosophy in Regional and Rural Development Planning from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
Mrs. TAN Sokhom is a lecturer at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture. She obtained a Master of Aquaculture and Aquatic Resources Environment at the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA). She has been teaching students and involved in the research development of fisheries biology, aquaculture and fisheries resource management for the faculty.
