History

The ECOLAND organization's history began with the Rural team which was active from 2006 to 2013 with support from the Fonds de Solidarité Prioritaire and Royal University of Agriculture (RUA). ECOLAND was officially founded in January 2014 by a group of early-career researchers and lecturers from RUA and French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development, IRD. Currently, ECOLAND structures under graduate research of graduate school.Within this framework, ECOLAND plays a central role in strengthening research and postgraduate training, alongside the Integrated Farm and the Food Research and Development Center. This structure ensures synergy between education, research, and innovation for high-quality.
