Dr. ZHANG Dongdong is a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), affiliated with Shanghai Ocean University. He specializes in integrated rice-fish farming. He holds a PhD in Aquaculture and is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Biology. His research interests include genetic breeding and supporting culture techniques of freshwater shrimp and crab. Currently in Cambodia, his work focuses on the integrated rice-farming system and intensive pond culture of giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii), aiming to support the development of rice-fish technology and talent cultivation in Lancang-Mekong countries.
