Study Privileges for RUA Personnel and Dependents
At the RUA Graduate School of the Royal University of Agriculture, we believe in supporting our dedicated personnel and their families through exceptional educational opportunities.

  1. Full-Time University Personnel: All full-time staff—whether permanent, temporary, regular, or contractual—are eligible for a waiver of tuition and miscellaneous fees (excluding research funds) across any faculty, school, or unit at RUA. This privilege extends to project personnel as long as their appointments align with the academic semester or term and are funded through the university's regular budget or institutional grants.
  2. Regular Part-Time Faculty: Faculty members with at least one year of continuous service are also entitled to a waiver of tuition and miscellaneous fees (excluding research funds) in any RUA faculty, school, or unit, provided their chosen field of study aligns with the academic focus of their home department.

Reduced Fee and Tuition Fee Exemption Process
At the RUA Graduate School of the Royal University of Agriculture, we’re committed to making education accessible. If you’re eligible for a Reduced Fee (RF) or Tuition Fee Exemption (TFE), follow these simple steps to apply:

  1. Check Your Grades: Ensure all subjects from the previous semester have been graded before submitting your RF or TFE application.
  2. Download and Complete the Application Forms:
    • Reduced Fee Form
    • Tuition Fee Exemption Form
  3. Obtain Necessary Signatures:
    • Have your application signed by your immediate supervisor, unit head, and dean.
    • For TFE, include signatures from your parent(s) employed at RUA.
  4. Submit Your Application: Send your completed request to the Office of Admin and Personnel for endorsement.
  5. Approval Process:
    • Upon approval, the Rectorate will email your application to the appropriate faculty or school for grade certification.
    • The faculty or school will then forward the signed RF or TFE to the Centre for Academic Affairs and Student Services (CAAS).
  6. Final Decision: CAAS will send the RF application to the Rectorate for final approval. Once approved, the Rectorate will return the form to CAAS, where it will be recorded in the system.
  7. Submission Guidelines: Complete your form with all required documents and submit it to gsinfo@rua.edu.kh.

 Important: Ensure you submit your forms at least ONE month before the start of the semester for timely processing.
