Introduction: Higher education in service to human kind is the mission of the faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. The faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development is a public comprehensive system of teaching and research. The Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Royal University of Agriculture, was established in 2000 with the three Departments. - Agricultural Economics - Agribusiness
- Rural Development.
Objectives: The long-team goal of the faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development is to become an institution of the Royal University of Agriculture, trying to achieve and maintain the excellence in training, research and extension. In order to achieve this goal, the faculty has the following major objectives: · To Produce human resource with three specialized skills on: Agricultural Economics, Agri-Business and Rural Development. · To train human resource endowed with strong knowledge and adequate personality, to promote self-development and critical thinking on rural socio-economic situation and changes, research on solutions for the socio-economic development of Cambodia. · To train graduates equipped with the Bachelor degree on Agricultural Economics and Rural Development to provide the academic background of highly qualified knowledge process skills, and the analytical tools to work efficiently and effectively, emphasis is thus placed on responsibilities, flexibility, and social consciousness. sustainability establishment with resources management and conservation and environment enhancement · To provide some knowledge of economy, decision making and social forest.
