Introduction Royal University of Agriculture was established during the 60s and is responsible for the administration of award the bachelor/ engineers of forestry sciences, and in addition a wide range of short training course awards are available. The faculty is composed of two departments such department of forest conservation, department of forest resources in which teaching and research is undertaken, made up the faculty.
Up to now, the faculty already trained 515 engineers, included 31 are females and all of them are working in various sectors, government private and humanitarian organizations in the whole country.
Mission The mission of the faculty is to produce the qualify of forestry graduate to be serve the forestry sector by improving the existing system to increase the forest resources and production, manage and preserve of natural resources, and enhance the forest environment.
Objectives The objective of this new Faculty is to educate students to obtain the technical and scientific qualification, morality, and practical ability in land management and land administration to respond to the requirements of a sustainable development. Students will therefore receive a comprehensive education on:
- To provide knowledge and professional skill in the area of forestry sciences to the students - To provide knowledge of forest & tree improvement, forest sustainability establishment with resources management and conservation and environment enhancement - To provide some knowledge of economy, decision making and social forest.
