The faculty consists of two departments and one Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN).
The Department of Agricultural Education and Extension (AEE) is dedicated to developing competent professionals who advance agricultural education, extension, and community development. The department equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to facilitate learning, strengthen agricultural advisory services, promote technology adoption, and empower farming communities.
Through innovative teaching, experiential learning, applied research, and stakeholder collaboration, the department prepares graduates to become educators, extension professionals, researchers, and development practitioners who contribute to resilient agricultural and food systems.
The Department of Agricultural Media and Communications (AMC) prepares students to become effective communicators who transform agricultural knowledge into engaging and impactful media for diverse audiences. The department integrates strategic communication, multimedia production, digital media, journalism, and communication technologies to support agricultural development, extension, education, and public engagement.
Through hands-on learning, creative media production, and industry collaboration, students develop the competencies to design communication strategies, produce digital content, and promote evidence-based agricultural innovations that contribute to resilient agricultural and food systems.
The Center of Excellence on Sustainable Agricultural Intensification and Nutrition (CE SAIN) serves as the faculty's technical and innovation hub, providing technical services while advancing applied research, capacity development, technology transfer, and community engagement. CE SAIN bridges education and research with practical application by promoting resilient agricultural and food systems.
Through training, extension services, demonstration activities, and collaborative partnerships, the center strengthens the capacities of students, faculty, government officers, farmers, youth, and development partners, contributing to Cambodia’s agricultural development.
